RED SQUARE

So Who went to Moscow and came back without a Lovebite?,sorry that should read Frostbite,(Freudian slip Folks).

The trip with the England Band was memorable if not for the right reasons...the traffic, the queues, the cold.... and lets not talk about the Game eh.!

By the way the Fur Hat was bought in China 20 years ago and Boy I needed it.

''THE ORDER OF THE RUSSIAN MOP''

So there I am in Moscow and awarded ''The Order of the Russian Mop''.

She said her name was Gerda, (and on reflection I may have spelt it it wrong).

Perhaps unwittingly I was taking part in a Russian version of 'Through the Keyhole', (''So who could live in Portaloo like this'' ?).

p.s. We parted friends but she does'nt return my calls.

MY HERO

What better way to bounce back from Beijing than to appear at the London Palladium with my hero Ken Dodd< P>

It was an evening I'll never forget, just working with the'Master' would have been enough, but a full house Palladium was the icing on the cake.

THE PALLADIUM

Still agog with Palladium memories, who's this I hear you cry !,none other than actor William Roache aka Ken Barlow the perennial star of 'Coronation street'.

William and I have developed some kind of a double act,(too complicated to explain but suffice to say it wowed 'em on the night in question).

Now we've conquered the world's No.1 Variety Theatre, next stop 'Vegas', What do you say William ?.

BEIJING

I've got so many memories of our Bejing trip I could fill a library.

However this one says it all.

A band of itinerant musicians on top of the Great Wall of China and the one in the middle is sitting on an Ostrich.

You'll have to wait for me autobiography for the full story.

IT'S A PANTOMIME !!

Happy memories of Panto in Aylesbury, and be honest, if you had a large Duck where else would you take it ?

Negotiations are going on as I speak re. next years Panto.

Watch this space for details.
